Innovative architecture is on the rise, and in Copenhagen they have reached far.
Click. no has previously written about the megasnegle house in Copenhagen which serves as an art gallery.
Copenhagen Zoo also rented architects as they were building houses for their elephants.

Urban in height
Now the architect firm BIG has opened its latest project in Copenhagen, the 8th century.
The 8th century is 61. 000 m2 and is spread over 476 apartments. It makes the building for Denmark’s largest apartment complex. And compared to apartments in Oslo, it’s not too expensive either.
Here you can see how much you need to help ensure an apartment.
Built to the well-known architect Bjarke Ingels lies on Ørestad’s southernmost tip overlooking the protected nature areas of Kalvebod Common .
We know that the Danes are better off using the bike in everyday life than we are. But that they can ride their apartment in 10. floor, we thought we were not going to happen.
The idea behind the building was that this was the apartment complex that united the rural with the urban, and therefore a continuous footpath was built up to the house 10. story.
The entire house is bound together by the footpath, which is about one kilometer. The walkway stretches along the façade in a double loop and to the top of the house.
The trail is intended as a natural meeting place for residents’ residents and the design so that the children also enjoy it.
And it’s not just the scenic surroundings that lure urban and buying-strong Danes. In the middle of the farm there is a gathering point of 500 m2 to be used for cultural and social activities.
– Various features and typologies are placed where it is most beneficial, associated with a long continuous path. Housing is the highest and southernmost, while possible stores are located at the bottom and north. With a disruption of the building we lifted the northern edge and pushed the southwestern corner down. It optimizes the house’s various features with maximum views, daylight and sunshine for everyone, “says Thomas Christoffersen in BIG for the online newspaper Fri. dk.
Set to MOMA
Press Officer in Big. Daria Pahhota writes to Click. no in an email that the apartments are very popular and that almost 100 apartments were sold in real time.
– We have also been contacted by the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York. The 8th century will be exhibited at MOMA and it is very, very big for us and architecture in general. It will be exhibited on Building Collections: Recent Acquisitions of Architecture, writes Pahhota.
