The narrow, clean-cut house is not what we expect to see in typical cottage towns.

EldingOscarson’s architects have thought of both customization and distinctiveness when they developed the white house, which was completed last year.

Stands out

The house is nestled onto a five meter wide strip in the cobbled street in Landskrona. The older, traditional houses are located next door.

The location of the house reminds us of Japanese architects’ challenges of drawing buildings on narrow land.

The street architecture has some common features, but the facades are varied and the houses are built in different eras.

The four-piece architectural-designed house is adapted to the swinging heights and building bodies in the rest of the street.

Nevertheless, the white structure differs well from the original houses.

They live in containers

The house’s construction is in Leca, and runs over three floors. The roof smells with existing buildings around.

The interior is made as one unit without walls. The room is smoothly broken by exposed steel beams that extend across the width of the house and share the uses like kitchen, bedroom, living room and roof terrace.

The large room opens onto the street outside, towards the sky and towards the center of the building. The open plan solution provides a transparent section.

On the other side of the little backyard is a small home office.

Our intention was to create a home with a wide variety of space experiences in small space, and with small funds, the architects say.

They themselves believe that the expression inside the small house is “non-minimalist” because the division of space opens to a lively interior, vertical and horizontal lines and views of the surroundings.

The building is a total of 125 square meters and cost 280. 000 euros, about 2. 3 million Norwegian kroner.
