Boligredakonen has previously chosen their favorite interior stores online. We have also presented the coolest interior stores in Oslo.
We have made a list of what we think are the best interior stores right now.
Several of the favorites are not in the capital.
Is not your favorite store on list? Share your tips in the comments box below.
1. Vitra – Oslo
Vitra makes the world’s finest mass-produced furniture. Here you get both established and future classics (and clichés) on a regular basis.
2. Utopia Retro Modern – Oslo
The best collection of vintage in town, powered by an enthusiastic Italian with nose for Scandinavian Design and Italian lamps. The shop in Kirkeveien is just the tip of the iceberg.
3. Box – Oslo
Box Design and Interior in the Arrow String is a favorite. Here you are always inspired by a visit, and then there is a cozy cafe in the same room. Here you will find new and exciting designs from innovative designers from all over Europe. The style includes everything from modern, vintage, nature inspired, bohemian style, and things with humorous controversy.
4. Pur Norsk – Oslo
A small but fine selection of fine Norwegian design. Here you get the dot over your i while supporting Norwegian design.
5. Gran Domino-Fredrikstad
Architect and shopkeeper Elisabeth Gran is the example that good taste is not relative. The store, currently under renovation, is filled with a wonderful mix of famous and unknown beads. As if it were not enough, it is in the middle of the country’s finest old town: Old Fredrikstad. The furniture in the store is very selectively selected, and in addition, this owner has an incredibly contagious mood.
6. Home & Cottage-Entire country
No big secret, but they always deliver. The style is cool and complete. It’s fun to find brands that are a bit new, such as the Norwegian bed linen from Florence. They do not doubt their style and that there are plenty of others who also like it.
7. Zanz Lillestrøm
Here you will find a bit of everything – and presented in a cool way. Vintage mixed with classics and a little homemade. Lots of nice grooming in the fall, like pillows and lights.
8. Gautes interiør-Tromsø
Here it is expensive and amazing. The shop in Tromsø, among other things, produces cool lamps (Flos, Bestlite etc. ) and they have amazingly beautiful wallpaper and textiles. And much more.
9. Heart Town in Inko-Harstad
Here they have a lot of great, and lead brands like Pip Studio, Bloomingville and House Doctor.
10. A. Huseby & Co-Oslo
Here you will find classics.
11. Bohemia Sola
Cool lifestyle shop with both interior, clothes and shoes.
12. DFU furniture-Sandnes
They have all of the design furniture and some lighting.
13. The house in the countryside-Malmheim
A terrific shop with too much in, so it will be almost a surprise store. The longer you are there, the more you notice.
