Making vacation rentals in the cabin as practical and as easy as possible is something all cabin owners think about. And there is always room for good, practical ideas that make the nightlife easier.

This incredible outdoor kitchen designed by Filter Architects is something for itself.

A little piece has been built into the cabin wall, just outside the kitchen area on the other side of the wall.

A small window has been created between the kitchen and the kitchen.

Through this, the two who cook the food can communicate, send food, dishes and kitchen utensils in between.

Kitchen with functional design

Above all the outdoor kitchen awaits a specially crafted tackle. A large, hinged limb of ten square meters that can be tilted up and down in a flash.

This is design and architecture that everyone understands the usefulness of.

Easy to handle

The cake was made of a cross-stitched frame of galvanized steel and wire. This frame was then drawn with a strong and solid pvc tarpaulin from sail maker Mathiesen in Stavanger.

The procedure when the roof is struck is that a person lifts the ceiling slightly and loosens the wing ends on top of the two long support arms..

Thus, the steel rods that are hinged in brackets can be bolted to the floor, laid down – and the roof can also be folded down.

This is how the outdoor kitchen is effectively closed, either for the weekend – or for the winter months.

Ferdighus has become modern

The slatted workbench with recessed steel sink has both cold and hot water. The back wall of heavy-duty panel is stained with Jotun’s distinctive autumn birch color.

A strong team

The builder who built the cabin after architectural drawings also created the unique outdoor kitchen.

The two filter architects Thomas Lærdal and Per Olav Pedersen designed themselves all the technical features needed to make the blade work.
