There are many exciting hotels around the world.

In Barcelona is one of the world’s coolest hotels for the interior, and in Kirkenes is one of the world’s smallest hotels.

Now the concept hotel in Harads outside Luleå in northern Sweden has opened the doors to its designed airy rooms.

So if you have not made plans for the summer vacation, Treehotel can offer accommodation among squirrels and birds this summer.

World Event

– It has become a bit of a world event. Interest has been enormous. We are fully booked for a long time, “says Britta Jonsson Lindvall. no.

She owns and runs the airy project together with her husband Kent Lindvall and two other affiliates.

– But there are still some vacancies left in the summer vacation, Britta adds.

The wooden hotel is an impressive collection of different rooms. Here a passion for innovative modern architecture meets with childhood desire to live in a tree.

The concept was born out of the question: “Why not create a comfortable, well-designed hotel that allows visitors to live in harmony with nature among the trees?”

An airy idea that became a reality. Help was given by a group of well-known Swedish designers and architects.

Good respite

Britta says that they want to pull people out of their busy busy urban life. Here you should be able to get a respite in everyday life, stress and just be free.

Free like the bird.

The inspiration comes from the documentary film “The Treasurer” by Jonas Selberg Augustsen.

It’s the story of three men from the urban environment who come back to their roots by building a tree house together.

The film was shot just in Harad and was shown on Swedish television and at the cinema.
