It is seven years since the family found the house by the sea. Then they had been captivated by the American Maine style for years and saw the dream house in the United States. That they would find a homeowner with the image of their house made the choice easy. The gray-painted classic house was their already at first glance.

– Last, we were in the United States, some friends showed a photograph of their house. It was quite like ours, both in terms of style and color, a very strange experience. We feel we’ve got a small piece of America here at the beach, “said the residents.

– What was the color choice in the home?

– The maritime environment gave us the color of the gray walls in the bedroom, the gray stands out well for the outside and the swamps.

It also makes the blue color in the entrance area. Otherwise, everything is painted in neutral white, while the exterior is kept gray with white karma. Just the bright rural that characterizes the style.

The staircase on the second floor differs, the wall is painted blue as the sea. And just beyond, by the white gangster is a woman in blue and gold. Stuck in the wall, a bit daring with a big call.

Beboer says they laughed when they first saw her, but she is so special that she lived. For them, the gallion figure adds the home something maritime and personal.

On the plot the family found anchor and boat propeller, it was clear that also the previous owner was fond of the sea.

The house does not have the traditional hallway or hallway. Here, residents and guests come straight into the living room, which is typical of the American style.

– Outerwear and shoes are hidden in a separate room at the entrance area, making it easy to keep it tidy. We also have the walking closet in all the bedrooms, it’s lovely to drop the closets and dressers in the rooms themselves.

Even though the summer has come and the house has got additional rooms with a terrace and garden room, the residents also appreciate the winters. Living by the sea is fascinating regardless of the season.
